Kedungpoh#kknUGM(SIDA) – July 23, 2023. The team of KKN PPM UGM Unit YO-094 working in Kedungpoh Village and Pengkol Village together with Resan Gunungkidul community and CV Dipantara resumed the series of mass planting program of 1850 seeds by performing symbolic planting in Pandanwangi People's Forests, Kedungpoh Lor Sub-village, Kedungpoh Village, Nglipar, Gunungkidul.

On the night before, Saturday, July 23, 2023, there was also held a gathering and discussion on the theme of living environment with the Vice-Regent of Gunungkidul, Heri Susanto, S.Kom, M.Si, and the Regional Coordinator of KKN PPM UGM, Dr. Djoko Santoso, S.Si., M.Si. as the culmination of the mass planting program. The mass planting program itself is a collaboration between the KKN PPM UGM Unit YO-094 in Kedungpoh Village and Pengkol Village, Resan Gunungkidul community, BPDAS Serayu Opak Progo, CV Dipantara, as well as Kedungpoh and Pengkol Village appliances. This program is designed to prevent landslides that occasionally occur in Kedungpoh and Pengkol Village and is expected to provide long-term benefits such as a water source for the community. Its own series of events will take place from July 22, 2023, to July 23, 2023, with the culmination of the event packed in the form of a simple gathering on the night of July 22, 2023, at Kedungpoh Lor Sub-village Hall. 

The community of Resan Gunungkidul who had not previously been able to participate in the symbolic planting at the gathering and discussion event, this time can participate to do the symbolical planting in the Pandanwangi Forests, Kedungpoh Lor Sub-village, Kedungpoh, Nglipar, Gunungkidul. Besides that, they also contributed about two hundred seeds out of the total of 1850 seeds prepared in this mass planting program. (Isti Farida R)
