Kalurahan Kedungpoh

Kedungpoh#kknUGM(SIDA)–  July 23, 2023. Continuing the mass planting program, KKN PPM UGM Unit YO-094 began distributing 1850 seeds to Kedungpoh and Pengkol Village. 

The mass planting program is a collaboration between the team of KKN PPM UGM Unit YO-094 in Kedungpoh Village and Pengkol Village, Resan Gunungkidul community, BPDAS Serayu Opak Progo, CV Dipantara, as well as Kedungpoh and Pengkol Village appliances that was made as an effort to prevent landslide disasters that occasionally occurred in Kedungpoh and Pengkol Village and is expected to provide long-term benefits such as a water source for the community. As the culmination of this program, there had also been held a gathering and discussion with the vice-regent of Gunungkidul and the regional coordinator of KKN PPM UGM on the theme of living environment, continued with symbolic planting in the Hall of Kedungpoh Lor Sub-village. In the morning, symbolic replanting was carried out this time in the Pandanwangi People's Forest, Kedungpoh Lor Sub-village, continued with the distribution of seeds to the ten sub-villages in Kedungpoh Village by the team of KKN PPM UGM unit YO-094. 

Earlier, the team of KKN PPM UGM Unit YO-094 in both villages, Pengkol and Kedungpoh, also had mutual help to hand over the seed for Pengkol Village that was received directly by the head of the village. In turn, the team of KKN PPM UGM Unit YO-094 jointly distributed other seeds to ten sub-villages in Kedungpoh Village, which was welcomed with enthusiasm and thanks by the citizens. (Isti Farida R)
